Erasmus for the school website
Our School is involved in the European project ERASMUS PLUS (Key Action 2) : for which it has been selected on the theme ‘Stop discrimination and start unification’. Our partners are: Germany, Poland and Turkey.
Erasmus+ supports transnational partnerships among Education, Training, and Youth institutions and organizations to encourage cooperation while bridging the worlds of Education and work in order to tackle the skills gaps we are facing in Europe.
It also increases learning opportunities abroad for both teachers and students from different countries enabling them to work together, to develop, share and convey best practices and innovative approaches in the fields of education, training and youth.
Key Action 2 projects and promotes cooperation and mobility activities that have a positive impact on the qualitative development of youth work, youth policies and youth systems as well as on the recognition of non formal education in Partner Countries.
Multilingualism is one of the cornerstones of the European project and a powerful symbol of the EU’s aspiration to be united in diversity.
Therefore, the promotion of language learning and linguistic diversity is one of the specific objectives of the Programme.
The lack of language competences is one of the main hurdles to overcome in order to to participate in European education, training and youth programmes. The opportunities put forward to offer linguistic support are aimed to make mobility more efficient and effective, to improve learning performance while contributing to the specific objective of the Programme.
We will work with our partners for 2 years and our students will have the opportunity to meet and work with their European ‘friends’ on E Twinning platform, hosting them and travelling to their countries.
